Gilles Lupien is a former NHL player and a renowned sports agent. Born in 1954, in Lachute, Qc. Canada, Lupien played as a defenseman in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1970s and 1980s.

As a player, Gilles Lupien spent time with several NHL teams, including the Montreal Canadiens, the Hartford Whalers, and the pittsburgh penguins. He was known for his defensive skills and toughness on the ice. Lupien won two Stanley Cups with the Montreal Canadiens in the 1976-77 and 1977-78 seasons.

After retiring as a player, Gilles Lupien transitioned to a career as a sports agent, the first of its kind. He became a certified player agent and represented NHL players such as Martin brodeur, roberto luongo, Corey Crawford, Martin Biron, Patrick Lalime, Martin Lapointe, Donald Audette, Sean Couturier And many more. Lupien was known for his involvement in tenacious contract negotiations and advocating for the best interests of his clients Keeping his group tied as a family.

2021

After the devastating passing of Gilles Lupien that shocked the whole hockey world, erik decided to pursue what he learned in his 12years+ experience beside Mr. Lupien. he is now in charge of the agency and represents players with the same passion and drive that his father had.

Through a merger with the group Bertrand’s talents, The family business has now evolved into a global agency who provides customized guidance to ATHLETES across the world. Following his father’s footsteps, erik has surrounded himself with a team across North aMERICA to provide sports prospects’ clients with the RESOURCES they need to achieve their goals.
